Jared Stanley lives in Merced County, California and is the author of many things, such as: Book Made of Forest (Salt), How the Desert Did Me In (The Song Cave), The Outer Bay (Trafficker Press), and I Something Scott Inguito You (Scantily Clad Press). MACGREGOR CARD is a poet, translator and bibliographer living in Jackson Heights, NYC. His first collection, Duties of an English Foreign Secretary, is just out from Fence (December 2009). A new chapbook, The Archers, is forthcoming from Song Cave. With Andrew Maxwell he was co-editor of The Germ: A Journal of Poetic Research, from 1997-2005. He teaches poetry at Pratt Institute and is an associate editor of the MLA International Bibliography.

BRANDON DOWNING is a photographer, collagist, filmmaker and poet. A longtime member of the Flarf Collective, his books include Lake Antiquity: Poems 1996-2008 (Fence, 2009), The Shirt Weapon (Germ Monographs, 2002), and Dark Brandon (Faux Press, 2005). A feature-length collection of his short films, Dark Brandon: Eternal Classics, was released on DVD in 2007, with a further installment expected in 2010. MATVEI YANKELEVICH is a translator of things Russian, and a writer of things English. He is the translator and editor of TODAY I WROTE NOTHING: The Selected Writings of Daniil Kharms (Overlook, 2007). He is a co-translator of OBERIU: An Anthology of Russian Absurdism (Northwestern UP, 2006). His own writing has appeared in various journals, and he is the author of a long poem, THE PRESENT WORK, presented as a chapbook by Palm Press [http://www.palmpress.org], as well as the book, Boris by the Sea, published by Octopus Books. He teaches at Hunter College and the School of the Arts at Columbia University. He is an editor at Ugly Duckling Presse.

LEWIS FREEDMAN recently found himself in Madison, WI and then quickly founded, along with Andy Gricevich, the _______-Shaped Reading Series. He is the author of The Third Word (reviewed glowingly by Eddie Berrigan in the Poetry Project Newsletter) and most recently CATFISH PO' BOYS, a glorious and messy mash-up of typed and handwritten poems, published by Minutes Books. Jess Mynes is the author Sky Brightly Picked, released in 2009 from Skysill Press. Jess publishes Fewer & Further Press, and also curates the All Small Caps Reading Series in Wendell, Massachusetts, where he lives and owns a Hot Tub Poetry Time Machine.

Judith Goldman is the author of Vocoder (Roof Books 2001) and DeathStar/Rico-chet (O Books 2006), as well as a chapbook, "The Dispossessions" (Atticus/Finch (forthcoming June 2009)). Her work appears or will appear in recent issues of Wig, Parameter, 580 Split, onedit, model homes, and cannot exist. She was a coeditor in the Krupskaya Collective from 2002 through 2004 and coedits the annual anthology War and Peace with Leslie Scalapino (#4 due out in June). Currently, she teaches as a professor and Harper Schmidt Fellow in the arts humanities core and the creative writing department at the University of Chicago; at her home in Chicago, she has started an inter-arts performance series combining music, sound art, visual art and installation, and performance poetry.

Brandon Brown is from Kansas City, Missouri. Poems recently in Brooklyn Rail, Try!, Sprung Formal, West Wind Review. His friends have published chapbooks. Memoirs of My Nervous Illness (Cy Press) 908-1078 (Transmission), Camels! (Taxt) and the forthcoming Wondrous Things I Have Seen (Mitzvah Chaps). Farrah Field’s first book of poems, Rising, won Four Way Books’ 2007 Levis Prize. Her poems have appeared in many publications including the Mississippi Review, Margie, The Massachusetts Review, Pool, Typo, Harp & Altar, 42Opus, La Petite Zine, Sojourn, Pebble Lake Review, Another Chicago Magazine, Fulcrum, and The Pinch. Jared White was born in Boston, and has lived in Brooklyn for about eight years, during which time he received an MFA in poetry from Columbia, as well as playing a fair amount of music, mostly on the piano. His poems have appeared journals in print (Another Chicago Magazine, Barrow Street, Cannibal, Fulcrum) and online journals (Coconut, Horse Less Review, Word For / Word, Verse). He also published essays on poetry and music, most recently in Harp & Altar, Open Letters, and Poets Off Poetry. He was awarded a University Writing Prize from the Academy of American Poets. Stacy Szymaszek is the Director of the Poetry Project at St. Mark's Church in New York City. Her work has appeared in Lvng, Aufgabe, antennae, Crayon, Xcp, 26 and online at The Cultural Society. She has also been featured online by Chicago Postmodern Poetry and Here Comes Everybody. She is the author of Some Mariners (EtherDome Press, 2004), Mutual Aid (gong press, 2004), There Were Hostilities (repair, 2005) and Pasolini Poems (Cy Press, 2005). She grew up in Milwaukee, WI.

Also beloved and beknown is SARAH BUCCHERI.
Sarah Buccheri was born and raised in suburban Chicago. After a stint in New York City, she now resides in Milwaukee, Wis. She earned a bachelor’s degree from Sarah Lawrence College and a master’s degree in film from the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee. Aside from her film and video work, Sarah is a performer and collaboratively produces regular performance art evenings at Darling Hall, one of Milwaukee’s finest underground art spaces. She has performed at The Marcus Center for the Performing Arts, Walker’s Point Center for the Arts, Galapagos Art Space, and at a variety of venues across the U.S. Most recently, she toured with a new show titled EPHKLATCHEMERAL, a collaborative performance that premiered at Baltimore’s 5th Annual Transmodern Festival 2008.

Stacy will be celebrating the release of her new book HYPERGLOSSIA, just out from Litmus Press. Bring yr checkbook, dummy.

Currently, she lives in Durham, NC, where she is studying 19th-century American literature at Duke. The Bruise, out now from Fiction Collective Two, is the winner of the 2006 Ronald Sukenick prize for innovative fiction. It is her first book.

Lewis Warsh has been a luminary on New York’s writing scene for 40 years. With Anne Waldman, he co-edited Angel Hair Books and Press, an important catalyst in the "mimeo revolution" of the 1960s and publisher of Alice Notley, Philip Whalen, Bernadette Mayer and Ron Padgett among others. The Angel Hair Anthology, brought out by Granary Books in 2001, was also co-edited with Waldman. Since 1977 he has edited United Artists Books.

Previous works of poetry, fiction and autobiography include Inseperable: Poems 1995-2005, Touch Of The Whip and The Maharajah's Son. Of the poetry collection, The Origin Of The World, Robert Creeley wrote: “Given the complexity of this world and all the myriad people who are in it, these poems are poignantly articulate experiments, which reach out endlessly, day or night, so as to feel another is still there too. John Koethe has been placed by many critics in the tradition of Wallace Stevens and John Ashbery. Robert Huddleston wrote this of his work: "he can show us as few other contemporary poets can into an oneiric world of magnificent austerity."

Michael Carr, along with Dorothea Lasky, publishes chapbooks under the Katalanché Press moniker. He edited last year's blockbuster The Book of Prophecies by John Wieners and is part of the Boston Poetry Collective. His chapbooks include Platinum Blonde and Softer White.

Dana Ward edits Cy Press from his home in Cincinnati. OMG Press recently published For Paris in Prison, a collaboration with Matthew Hughes Boyko (no word on whether or not she got it). Two chapbooks, The Imaginary Lives of My Neighbors and The Wrong Tree, are available online in pdf format from Duration Press and Dusie Press, respectively.
